01 Market Radar

You cannot watch your own market

You are busy running the business, and the watching never makes it to the top of the list. So we do it. Every fortnight we read what every named player in your market is publishing, and send you one brief.

02 The problem

Why watching it yourself doesn't work

Every owner says they keep an eye on their competitors. Most mean "when I remember, and not for a while".

Looking is a leftover It happens in the gaps between real work, so it happens in quiet weeks and stops dead in busy ones. Busy weeks are when your market moves.
Alerts are not intelligence Change detection tools are cheap and they hand you a list of what changed. Someone still has to read it, work out what it means for your position, and decide. That someone is you.
Rivals are not your whole market Your customers' attention also goes to adjacent operators, the trainers and podcasters your industry listens to, and whoever is buying the ad space this month. Watching five rivals misses most of it.

Both leave the noticing to you. That is the part we do, so you are never the last to know what your market is doing.

03 The deliverable

What lands in your inbox

One PDF, on a set day. Three sections up front, then the full market read behind them so you can go as deep as you want.

What moved

01 The five to eight things worth your attention

The handful of things that actually shifted since last issue, in plain language, each with a link to the source. Not a feed.

What it means for you

02 Read against your position, not the market's

Where the gap is, who is drifting into your patch, and what your rivals are saying that you are not. Not general market commentary.

What you can do about it

03 Written as instructions, not ideas

Three to five specific moves: content angles, positioning shifts, and a lead-magnet or social-post concept drawn from what is landing for adjacent players in your market.

Behind those three sections sits the full read, sources and links intact. It lands every fortnight once your market map is set.

The brief is produced by our own engine, and it is read by a person here before it reaches you. That is the arrangement: the machine does the watching, we carry the read.

04 The offer

One tier. No menu

Radar

Monthly Three month minimum, then month to month on 14 days notice

Fortnightly brief with lead-magnet and content ideas included. One call to set it up, then two or three moves worth making each fortnight.

There is one tier, so there is nothing to compare and nothing to upsell you to later. The rate is confirmed in writing before you commit, and GST is quoted separately. Pilot places include onboarding at no charge, the call to confirm your market plus the build of your map.

There are three pilot places. After that it is the standard rate from day one.

05 The proof

Does it actually work

Judge the product, not this page. Market Radar has been reading Raptor Intelligence's own market since June, on a fixed schedule since mid July. That market runs to 142 named players; yours will be whatever size it actually is, and we map all of it. We run the business on it.

A second copy runs on a coaching business's market. Their lead read his brief and called it "gold" without being asked.

There is no client case study yet, because there is no paying client yet. That is exactly what the pilot cohort is. What we can do instead is build a real one on your market this week and let you tell us whether the read is right.

06 The clarifier

What it's not

  • 01Not a dashboard you have to log into. Nothing to learn, nothing to check, nothing to abandon in week three.
  • 02Not an alert feed. "Their pricing page changed" is not intelligence, it is homework.
  • 03Not a one-off report. Movement only means something measured against last fortnight, which is why the minimum is three months.
  • 04Not everything, yet. Version one reads the open web, YouTube, podcasts and paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Organic social posts are on the roadmap and we will not pretend otherwise.

Ask for a read of your market

No charge, no obligation, yours either way. Tell us the business and we will build the map and send you a brief on your actual market. Then you decide.
